Overview

Claremont Club Summer Camp is built around movement, play, and age-appropriate physical development. The program focuses on keeping kids active through a mix of sports, games, and fitness-based activities, while also encouraging teamwork, confidence, and positive social interaction. Campers rotate through activities designed to match their age and energy level, creating a balanced day that blends structure with fun.

One of the program's strengths is its variety of camp options. Families can choose from several specialized tracks, including Mini Camp and Mini Camp Plus for younger children, Mini All Sports Camp, GYM Camp, Kids Sports and Fitness Camp, and All Sports Camp. This range allows campers to either sample different activities or focus more deeply on sports and gym-based programming, depending on their interests.

The atmosphere is energetic but supportive, with staff guiding campers through games and activities that emphasize participation and skill-building rather than competition. The camp is best suited for younger and elementary-age children who enjoy being active and benefit from structured daily routines. With its focus on physical activity and multiple program formats, Claremont Club Summer Camp gives kids a chance to stay engaged, make friends, and build healthy habits during their summer break.

Accommodation and Meals

Accommodation

This is a day camp only. Campers attend during the day and return home in the afternoon. Overnight accommodations are not included in the program.

Meals

Campers are asked to bring a refillable water bottle each day to stay hydrated. For safety reasons, glass water bottles or glass containers are not permitted. Camp does not allow hot water or food that requires warming, so all packed items should be ready to eat as-is.

Morning snacks should be brought from home. In the afternoon, campers are treated to a popsicle provided by The Claremont Club. Families should be aware that the camp follows a strict no-nut policy across all childcare areas, including Summer Camp. Any food containing nuts, labeled “may contain nuts,” or produced in facilities that handle nuts is not allowed.

For campers registered in full-day programs, lunch is included Monday through Friday during the midday lunch period. If a child has dietary restrictions or specific food preferences, parents must pack a lunch from home that complies with the no-nut policy.

Daily lunch menus are posted in advance and displayed on chalkboards at the specialty camp check-in location, helping families stay informed about the camp's meal options.
