Orbits Curiosity Camp

For young explorers eager to uncover the wonders of the universe, Orbits Curiosity Camp at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff is a stellar summer destination. Designed for children in grades 1 through 6, this hands-on camp combines science, STEM, and a touch of cosmic magic to ignite curiosity and inspire discovery. Set on the historic Mars Hill campus, campers will dive into fascinating topics like the Solar System, galaxies, and the possibility of life on other worlds. Through activity-based learning and team-building exercises, kids will engage in experiments and projects that bring the mysteries of space to life. With a 3:20 counselor-to-camper ratio, every child receives personalized attention in a safe and supportive environment. The camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with optional before and after care available for a small fee. While campers need to bring their own lunches, they’ll be fueled by a day packed with exciting discoveries and camaraderie. Each session concludes with a special "graduation" event where families can celebrate their child's achievements.
