Lunch is not included in the camp fee. Every participant must bring their own packed lunch, snacks, and an individual water bottle. A daily lunch break is scheduled (around midday), so having food and hydration planned is essential. Parents should also pack sunscreen and any extra drinks, such as isotonic beverages, if preferred.
Safety is taken seriously at PSG Soccer Camp San Diego. The camp operates under the supervision of trained coaches and includes a qualified athletic trainer on-site daily to manage injuries or emergencies. Protective equipment (cleats, shin guards), hydration, sunscreen, and regular water breaks are required to ensure the physical well-being of all players.
Training groups are formed by age and skill level to avoid mismatches in physical challenges. Staff are trained to coach with awareness of each child's ability, and games are organized to emphasize safe play, respect, and fair competition. In case of injury or discomfort, the athletic trainer is ready to respond, providing first aid or further care as needed.
The camp provides access to a qualified athletic trainer throughout every session to address injuries or health concerns. In case of more serious incidents, there is a procedure in place to seek further medical attention. Parents are responsible for informing staff in advance of any existing medical conditions or allergies so the trainer can be prepared. Campers are reminded regularly to hydrate, rest when needed, and use proper equipment to minimize risk.
PSG Soccer Camps across the USA — including San Diego — emphasize respect, fair play, teamwork, and personal growth as fundamental values. Even though it's a day camp, traditions emerge through daily structure: morning warm-ups, skill drills, scrimmages, team debriefs, and encouragement-based coaching that recognizes effort, sportsmanship, and improvement. At each session’s end, players may receive a certified camp diploma, and organizers often highlight “MVPs” or stand-out performers to celebrate progress, attitude, and dedication. This reinforces a culture of positive competition and mutual support rather than pressure or ego.
PSG Soccer Camp offers a comprehensive soccer development program that combines technical training with tactical thinking and game-day experience. Each day begins with warm-ups and technical drills — passing, dribbling, ball control, footwork — then shifts into position-specific exercises, shooting, defending, and game-like scenarios. Players practice individual skills, then apply them in small-sided games, tactical drills, and scrimmages to build decision-making, teamwork, and real-match confidence. The environment encourages hard work, respect, and enjoyable competition, with coaches offering feedback and encouragement throughout.
All participants must bring their own lunch, snacks, hydration, and proper equipment.
