Play-Well’s LEGO® Engineering Summer Camps bring creativity and STEM learning together in a fun, approachable way. Designed for kids who love to build, tinker, and explore how things work, each camp provides children with the opportunity to delve into engineering and physics through imaginative, age-appropriate projects.
Experienced instructors guide campers through themed builds using tens of thousands of LEGO® pieces, showing how real-world concepts — like gears, pulleys, and levers — apply to their designs. Whether constructing a motorized car, a moving bridge, or an entire city, kids develop problem-solving skills while working in a relaxed, supportive setting.
The camp welcomes children ages 5–12, with separate sessions tailored to each age range and skill level. Younger builders explore creative play and basic engineering principles, while older ones dive into advanced mechanical and robotics projects. It’s ideal for curious kids who learn best through hands-on experimentation and collaboration.

Play-Well emphasizes a structured, small-group environment where kids can learn safely and confidently. Each instructor is trained in child supervision, classroom management, and age-appropriate engineering instruction. Camp ratios are intentionally low, allowing each child to receive personalized attention and assistance during builds and experiments.
Materials are non-toxic and designed for safe use by children. Camp sessions are held indoors at established community centers or schools, providing secure facilities, controlled access, and constant supervision.
While Play-Well doesn’t follow traditional overnight camp rituals, its sessions feature a few fun traditions of their own. Every week wraps up with a “Builder’s Showcase,” where campers proudly present their projects to instructors and peers. Friendly competitions and creative challenges are also common, adding excitement and a sense of accomplishment.
Teamwork is encouraged throughout the camp, so children leave not only with cool creations but also new friendships and improved collaboration skills. The atmosphere is positive, inclusive, and focused on celebrating creativity and curiosity.
Play-Well’s curriculum merges hands-on creativity with real-world STEM concepts. Each day, campers explore a new theme or challenge that builds both technical understanding and problem-solving confidence. While younger children focus on imaginative play and foundational engineering, older campers dive into motorized mechanisms and robotics. The learning happens naturally — through laughter, collaboration, and play.
