For kids who love nature and adventure, RiverLink Summer Camp in Asheville, NC, offers a hands-on experience that’s as educational as it is exciting. This camp is perfect for young explorers eager to dive into the wonders of the natural world—especially the river! With activities ranging from science to art, RiverLink provides a well-rounded outdoor experience that will inspire curiosity and creativity. Campers will get their feet wet (literally!) by investigating local streams and learning about water quality through the study of aquatic insects. They’ll build their own watershed models to see firsthand how human activities affect rivers and ecosystems. And for those with a creative side, there’s plenty of opportunity to express themselves through river-inspired art and poetry. But it’s not all about learning—there’s plenty of fun to be had on the water! Campers will explore the river by kayak, canoe, raft, or tube, making for thrilling days spent paddling and floating under the summer sun. They’ll also have the chance to give back by volunteering with the Clean Stream Team, helping to keep local waterways clean and healthy. If your child is ready for a summer of adventure, discovery, and environmental stewardship, RiverLink Summer Camp is the perfect place to make waves!
