Accommodation
Seaside Arts Center Summer Camp is a day camp. Campers attend during the day and return home afterward. No overnight lodging, cabins, dorm rooms, hotel stays, or residential supervision are included.
The main camp day runs from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Extended care is available from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM for students enrolled in camp. This gives families a longer supervised day when needed, while keeping the main camp focused on arts programming.
Most camp sessions take place at Seaside Arts Center. One Musical Theater Intensive, Into the Woods, takes place at Ocean Air Recreation Center. Families should check the correct site for the selected week.
The camp is organized as a studio-based arts experience. Campers spend the day in creative instruction, rehearsals, group activities, visual art sessions, and performance preparation rather than outdoor recreation or general childcare.
Meals
Campers should bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. These items are needed for the full-day Multi-Arts Camp. Older Musical Theater Intensive campers should also bring food and water for the day.
Extended care students should bring an extra afternoon snack. Extended care includes arts and crafts, movement, and dance activities, so children staying later may need more food than they would on a regular camp day.
No prepared meal service, cafeteria lunch, catered food, or snack service is included in the camp description. Families should pack food that is easy for the child to manage during a busy studio day. A labeled water bottle is important, especially for campers dancing, singing, and moving between activities.
Information about refrigeration, microwave access, allergy-specific handling, or special diet support is not included in the camp details.
Safety
Seaside Arts Center describes its camp environment as inclusive and supportive. Reasonable instructional accommodations may be made for students with diverse learning needs when possible. The camp is not able to provide one-on-one support or individualized supervision, so families whose child requires an aide or paraprofessional should contact the studio before enrollment.
Multi-Arts campers must be at least 5 years old by September 1. Campers must also be able to use bathroom facilities independently. If a bathroom accident occurs, parents or guardians are contacted and asked to come to the studio to assist the child.
Extended care is available for enrolled campers and provides supervised time before and after the main camp day. Activities during extended care may include arts and crafts, movement, and dance.
