Sommercamp

Each summer, the Sommercamp in Austin offers a full German language immersion experience for children of all ages. The week-long camps, held twice a month in June and July and once in August, provide a lively environment where kids can learn German naturally through play and creativity. Younger students (ages 3–6) enjoy summer-themed learning with arts and crafts, theater, games, and live entertainment. Through these hands-on activities, they develop language skills while having fun in a supportive and engaging atmosphere. Older students dive into thematic projects such as sports, food, or gaming, where they use German to communicate, write scripts, and perform roleplays. They also collaborate on creative projects like designing their own board games, encouraging teamwork and confidence in speaking. In addition to the Austin camps, San Antonio weekend camps are offered on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., extending the learning experience. The Sommercamp creates lasting memories while inspiring a genuine love for the German language and culture.
