Accommodation
Tech Revolution STEM Summer Camps take place on the UCLA campus, providing campers with a comfortable and inspiring learning environment. While this is a day camp and does not include overnight lodging, the university setting offers spacious classrooms, well-equipped facilities, and an organized campus layout that works especially well for younger students.
UCLA is widely recognized for its well-maintained grounds, modern academic buildings, and student-friendly infrastructure. Campers benefit from learning in a setting designed for education, with plenty of space to move between activities and enjoy a true college atmosphere during the day.
Meals
Campers may bring their own lunch and snacks from home, which allows families to easily manage dietary preferences and needs. In addition, an optional catered lunch program is available for an additional fee, offering a convenient solution for families who prefer not to pack meals daily.
Snack breaks are built into the schedule, helping campers stay energized during active, hands-on sessions. Access to meals and snacks is structured to fit naturally into the camp day without disrupting learning time.
Safety
Hosting the camp on a major university campus adds an extra layer of structure and supervision. Campers are monitored throughout the day by trained staff, with clear routines for arrival, dismissal, and transitions between activities.
The campus environment itself is organized and controlled, helping ensure campers remain within designated program areas at all times. Combined with attentive instructors and low staff-to-camper ratios, this creates a setting where students are well supervised while still feeling comfortable exploring and learning.
Health & Medicine
As a day camp held on a university campus, the program is designed to support campers’ overall well-being during full days of activity. Campers should be able to manage basic personal needs with age-appropriate independence.
Families are encouraged to share relevant health information in advance, including allergies or medical considerations. Breaks are scheduled throughout the day for rest, hydration, meals, and screen time balance, helping students stay focused and comfortable during camp hours.
Camp Traditions
Tech Revolution camps are run by Lavner Education, a family-owned, founder-led organization with a long-standing commitment to high-quality youth programs. The camp culture emphasizes care, consistency, and community—values that reflect both the organization’s family roots and the academic reputation of UCLA.
Many campers return year after year, building skills and confidence through progressive learning experiences. While the university setting adds prestige, the heart of the program remains focused on creating a welcoming, supportive camp experience where kids can grow and succeed.
