Camp days center on indoor bouldering and movement for ages 6–14. Campers learn climbing basics, spend time on rope-free bouldering terrain, and rotate through activities that can include climbing games, yoga, slacklining, ninja-style agility or obstacle challenges, arts and crafts, and other group games. The weekly summer program is designed for children with or without prior climbing experience; basic instruction is built into the week and gear is included.
The main summer format runs Monday through Thursday from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Campers can arrive from 9:15 AM, take a morning snack break and a midday lunch break, and stay through pickup by 2:30 PM. Weekly programming includes a Wednesday ninja agility and climbing obstacle course hosted by San Diego Climbing Academy, plus a Thursday pizza party. Families pack lunch each day, while the weekly fee includes climbing gear, instruction, craft materials, a daily snack, and Thursday pizza.
A separate On The Wall Day Camp offers Friday sessions from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with climbing, fitness-focused movement, creative activities, yoga or stretching, slackline practice, craft projects, and a ninja warrior course. That program uses parent sign-in and sign-out procedures and requires ID at pickup. Both camp formats take place at The Wall’s indoor Vista facility, where bouldering walls, training areas, yoga space, lounge areas, and fitness equipment support an active day.
