Accommodation
USBA Chula Vista Summer Camp is a day camp. It does not offer overnight lodging, dorms, cabins, or residential supervision. Campers attend during the day and return home after the daily program ends.
The camp runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Daily check-in begins at 8:45 AM. This schedule gives players a full baseball day while keeping the commitment shorter than a full residential camp week. It also makes the program better suited for local families or families already staying in the Chula Vista or San Diego area.
Because this is not an overnight camp, families should plan all transportation, drop-off, and pick-up.
Meals
Lunch is not provided at USBA Chula Vista Summer Camp. Because the camp runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, campers will need food during the day, and families should plan accordingly.
Camp traditions
USBA Chula Vista Summer Camp includes several competition-based features that give the week a camp feel beyond regular drills. The Wiffle Ball World Series is the most distinctive one. It gives kids a lighter, playful way to compete, swing, run, and enjoy the game after more focused instruction.
Prizes are awarded to winners, adding a fun goal for campers who like friendly challenges. Every participant also receives a T-shirt and camp certificate, so each child leaves with something connected to the experience. These simple take-home items help mark the week and give campers a sense of completion.
