Hot on the heels of the sun-drenched trails of Tucson, the stirring sounds of cowboy music and thrilled laughter echo through the air. That's your kiddos, set loose on a captivating Wild West Rodeo Weekend adventure organized by the world-renowned Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus. Led by the esteemed Dr. Julian Ackerley and Dr. Jordan Shomper, boys aged 6 to 14 will have the chance to dive into the riveting world of rodeos, learn new musical skills, and hone their acting chops with the actors of the Pistoleros Wild West Show. As they stretch their wings and try their hands at fancy trick-roping, decking themselves out in their finest cowboy garb, kids will also craft their voices with western songs taught by the stellar TABC Touring Chorus. The experience is not all cowboy boots and campfires, though; boys are guided to build essential acting skills through the interactive theatrical experience of a brand-new western melodrama performed at Trail Dust Town. The title and characters for this thrilling stagecraft remain a mystery until unveiled on February 1.
The camp days are filled with the laughter of campers enjoying outdoor games, lip-smacking cookout meals, and the camaraderie that comes with an immersive group experience. Every camper's adventure culminates in a joyful melodrama performance and a memory-capturing photograph with the cool Pistoleros of Trail Dust Town. Saddle up, folks! Plenty of fun, friends, and western-themed frolics await at this unforgettable Tucson-based Wild West Rodeo Weekend camp. Time to let your little cowboys seize the reins and ride into a horizon of boundless adventure.
