Overview

Berlin's five-star Radisson Collection hotel is located in the historic city centre, on the banks of the River Spree between Museum Island and Alexanderplatz. The hotel is part of the Radisson hotel chain, which is owned by the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.

Families with young children will appreciate the in-room bath and shower with flexible hose. A kettle, tea and coffee making facilities allow guests to enjoy light snacks and tea at any time of the day. Guests in the Nikolai Suite can only prepare their own meals in the room. However, a morning meal in the HEat Restaurant with a typical continental buffet will be sufficient to start the day. The restaurant also offers a special children's menu. Directions

The Radisson Blu Hotel Berlin is centrally located between Alexanderplatz and Museum Island. Berlin Schönefeld Airport is 18 km away.

Tourists arriving at Schönefeld Airport find the best way to their destination (Alexanderplatz) by taking the Airport Express train, which stops 700 metres from the building.

The S-Bahn and U-Bahn trains (S3, S5, S7, S75, U8, U2, U5) also stop here. The S-Bahn Hackescher Markt underground train station (S5, S7, S75 lines) is located on the other side.

The fastest and easiest way to reach the Radisson Blu Hotel from Berlin Central Station is by S-Bahn (S7 branch, Hackescher Markt station).

Some rooms have access to private balconies overlooking Berlin. Interconnecting rooms, rooms for allergic persons and rooms for disabled persons are available:

Standard room, 27 sqm, some with French balconies overlooking the city or the Aquarium. The room has a double bed, lounge area with armchair, ironing press. The bathroom has a bath combined with a shower. Connecting rooms are available. Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.

Business Class Room, 27sqm with a furnished balcony overlooking the city. The room has a double bed, a Nespresso coffee machine, a seating area with an armchair and a work area with a desk, iron and ironing board. The bathroom has a bath and shower, bathrobes and slippers. Guests receive complimentary daily newspapers, a bottle of water on arrival and a super breakfast buffet in the HEat restaurant. Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.

Junior Suite, 47 sqm, corner room with French balcony overlooking the city. It consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a sitting area with leather furniture, two TVs and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a separate bath, shower and a double washbasin. Adjoining standard rooms are available and all the services of the business class rooms. Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.

Nikolai Suite, 101 sqm, with separate living room, dining room, bedroom and fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom has a very large double bed, a dressing table and a large wardrobe. The living room has two leather sofas, a built-in aquarium and a balcony with French windows and panoramic views of the city. In the dining room - a large oval table for 8 people with leather chairs, kitchen equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge. The bathroom has a shower cubicle and Jacuzzi, as well as a linen cupboard, bathrobes and slippers. There is also a second guest bathroom and a TV in each room. Food and Drink

A super breakfast buffet is included for all guests except those staying in standard rooms. It is served from 6am in the HEat Restaurant.

The morning buffet is a typical German breakfast with cereals, various cuts of meat, seasonal fruit and vegetables, sausages, egg dishes, pastries, hot drinks, milk and cocoa for children.

From midday, the restaurant serves an à la carte menu with classic German dishes as well as Indian and Italian specialities. In addition to the indoor lounge, there is an outdoor terrace overlooking the River Spree in the warmer months. HEat's chef has created a special menu for children.

A light breakfast buffet, Grab & Ru, is served in the lobby from 5am to 6am for early check-out guests: cereals, seasonal fruit, hot drinks and milk. In the evening, even if you're not hungry, a visit to the Atrium Bar is a must.

A cup of tea and dessert or a slice of tart will only complement the main course.

If breakfast is not included in the room rate, it is easy to find a cheaper alternative. Within walking distance of the hotel are not only the major attractions, but also a wide range of eateries, including reasonably priced ones. If a light breakfast or dinner is all you need, you can find something to eat in one of the many shopping centres in the area.

Guests receive a complimentary bottle of water and fruit on arrival (except in standard rooms) and 24-hour room service is available. Birthday guests are welcomed with a birthday cake.
