The three-storey building that houses Hotel Laimer Hof was built at the end of the 19th century and is considered an old building in the quiet and peaceful Nymphenburg district of Munich. Since 2003, the hotel has been run by a married couple who take pride in welcoming guests with personal attention and high quality service.
The hotel is close to the Nymphenburg Palace Park, where you'll enjoy a morning stroll or jog with your child. There are also several museums within the palace grounds that will appeal to children, such as the Carriage and Porcelain Museum and the Museum of Man and Nature.
A varied breakfast buffet will appeal to children and adults alike. There are several restaurants near the hotel that cater for children for lunch and dinner. There are also two supermarkets nearby, where you can buy everything you need to eat or relax.
Pets are welcome at the Hotel Laimer Hof, and your little one will be happy to stay in the spacious family room. The interior is homely and comfortable with lots of colour, pretty curtains, tablecloths, solid wood furniture with wrought iron fittings and comfortable upholstered furniture, pictures and decorations on the walls.
It is also worth mentioning that the hostel is conveniently located near public transport, so you can easily explore all of Munich's many attractions. Trams 16 and 17 take you to the city centre station. A 10-15 minute walk will take you to the S-Bahn station, from where you can travel directly to the airport.
There is also free bike hire so you and your young traveller can plan your own route to the city's famous attractions: Olympic Park, BMW Museum, Marienplatz and the Zoo.
The staff will be happy to explain and advise you on how to get around, where to eat well and cheaply and how to enjoy your free time.
