Mandarin Oriental Munich

The hotel was built in the late 19th century as a ballroom building and has been renovated several times since then. Today there are 73 comfortable rooms in various categories. The interior features authentic artwork, cherry wood furniture and some pieces of furniture are the same age as the hotel itself:  

Superior 33-35 sqm, with a large double or standard double bed, bedside tables and a large desk. The bathroom has a shower cubicle and deep soaking tub. There are views of the city and some rooms even have a window in the bathroom.  Maximum occupancy is 3 people, including an extra bed.

Deluxe 36-40 sqm, with large double or standard double bed, high ceilings, views over the city or the Hofbräuhaus beer gardens. Some rooms have bevelled walls. The bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub. Maximum occupancy 3 people when including extra bedding.

Mandarin 41-50 sqm, with a view over the city or the Hofbräuhaus beer gardens. The rooms on the top floor have sloping ceilings and on the lower floors a ceiling height of 5.5 metres.  The room has a large double bed or two single beds and a comfortable work corner. Maximum occupancy is 3 guests plus one extra bed.

Superior Junior Suite 51-55 sqm, open-plan, large living area with sofa bed, king-size bed and spacious dressing room. The suite overlooks the city or the Hofbräuhaus beer gardens, and has a private outdoor terrace. Maximum occupancy 3 guests excluding extra bed.

Deluxe Suite Junior 56-65 sqm, open-plan, with antique German furniture and a large double bed. Some rooms have high ceilings or sloping ceilings and some have French windows with a view of the Hofbräuhaus. Maximum occupancy is 3 guests if not counting the extra bed.

Mandarin Junior Suite 75 sqm, with city views and an original round sofa. Includes a king-size bed, original wicker mats and a large seating area. The bathroom has a large sink with a wide countertop. Maximum occupancy is 3 if not counting the extra bed.

Suite Corner 75 sqm room located on the top floor of the hotel's corner tower, features a unique circular bedroom with a large double bed and a custom-made oriental rug. The bedroom has five windows with views over the city. The living room has a large sofa, armchairs and a glass slide containing a collection of Asian art. There is a walk-in wardrobe adjoining the bathroom with a separate bath and shower. Maximum occupancy is 3 guests if not counting the extra bed.

Suite Oriental 65 sqm, located on the sixth floor, has a large corner balcony and sliding glass doors and glass walls in the living room.  The open-plan bedroom has a large double bed, wicker carpet and a large walk-in wardrobe. The living room has glass slides with a collection of oriental art objects In the bathroom there is a double sink, deep soaking tub and shower.  Maximum occupancy is 3 if not counting the extra bed.

One Bedroom Tower Suite 85-90 sqm, with an elevated circular living room with curved windows and high ceilings, embellished with antique artwork. A separate dining room can accommodate up to six people and is connected by a corridor to the guest bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom has a large double bed, wicker carpet and a large walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom has a double basin, bathtub, shower and large window overlooking the city. Maximum occupancy is 3 if not counting the extra bed.

The two-bedroom Tower Suite is 125-140 sqm and has a circular living room, separate dining room for six, a walk-in wardrobe and a guest toilet. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has two single beds. Bathrooms have en suite bathtubs and showers and one of the bathrooms has a large window. Maximum occupancy for 5 if not counting the extra bed.

The suite Presidential 120 sqm, has a sumptuous living room decorated with original artwork and a chandelier adorned with Swarovski crystals, two bedrooms with large double beds and a kitchen. The glazed dining area sleeps four and the room also has its own private outdoor terrace. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi bath and steam room. There is also a separate guest toilet. Standard accommodation is for 3 people if not counting the extra bed.

The Grand Presidential Suite 325 m² in size, with views over the city and the Hofbräuhaus gardens, antique furniture and chandeliers with Swarovski crystals, occupies half of the upper floor of the hotel. The living room, with a separate dining area, has floor-to-ceiling windows and access to a balcony that extends across the entire room. Each bedroom has a king size bed and an en suite bathroom. The master bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and steam room. The room is equipped with a kitchen and has its own terrace. Maximum occupancy is 5 people if not counting the extra bed.
