Hands-on projects are the center of the experience at Autra Academy Camps. Children can choose technology-focused camp options built around LEGO robotics and older robotics challenges, or creative art camps organized around themed projects. The La Jolla program is a day-camp experience with both half-day and full-day offerings, giving families different ways to fit camp into a summer schedule.
Robotics campers work with themes such as LEGO Robotics and an introduction to FIRST LEGO League, while another full-day option combines the FLL track with Minecraft Redstone Circuitry. Art campers have separate themed choices, including Pop Culture + Craft, alongside broader summer art sessions for older participants. Several younger tracks are designed for ages 5–9, while other robotics and art options are labeled for ages 9+ and 10+, so the overall camp card covers a wide range of school-age children and teens.
The format suits campers who like making things, solving practical challenges, and learning through a focused theme rather than a general recreation schedule. Families can choose between robotics and art depending on a child’s interests, then select a day-camp format that matches the specific offering. Autra Academy’s broader educational focus also includes coding, AI, and game design, reinforcing a technology-and-creativity orientation across the organization.

Campers choose a focused track rather than one mixed program. The technology side includes LEGO Robotics for ages 5–9 and an older robotics option built around an introduction to FIRST LEGO League. One full-day robotics listing pairs the FLL theme with Minecraft Redstone Circuitry, giving older campers two connected technical subjects within the same camp option.
Creative campers can choose separate summer art sessions. La Jolla choices include Pop Culture + Craft for ages 5–9 as well as full-day summer art camp for ages 10+. These offerings keep art and robotics as distinct bookable themes, so families can select the subject that best matches a child’s interests and age band.
The camp structure includes both half-day and full-day day-camp formats. Younger camp listings use clear age bands, while older options are labeled 9+ or 10+ depending on the program. Across the academy, the emphasis is hands-on education, with the broader program mix covering coding, LEGO robotics, AI, and game design. For camp families, that translates into project-centered choices where the main activity area is defined before registration rather than a general all-activities schedule.
