Circus Center is a renowned circus arts school with a long history of welcoming kids into the world of aerial silks, trapeze, tumbling, juggling, clowning, and more. Their day camps for children ages 7–13 offer a fun, safe, and structured introduction to the circus arts. What makes this camp special is how it blends creativity, movement, and performance in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Campers get to explore a variety of disciplines — from ground-based acrobatics and juggling to high-flying aerial arts — giving them a chance to discover what they enjoy most.
During a typical camp week, kids rotate through different circus disciplines, receive instruction from professional circus artists, and get to try new skills daily. This variety keeps the experience fresh and exciting. For children who might not fit neatly into traditional sports or arts camps, Circus Center provides a unique mix of physical challenge, artistic expression, and play. The atmosphere encourages self-expression, teamwork, and confidence — great for both shy kids discovering their strengths and outgoing kids looking to push their limits.

The camp does not provide lunch. Parents are responsible for packing their child’s lunch, snacks, and a refillable water bottle. The camp includes a scheduled lunch break around midday, giving campers time to eat, rest, and hydrate before afternoon activities. Families should plan for a full day: sun-safe clothing, sunscreen, and perhaps extra snacks for active kids.
Safety is taken seriously at Circus Center. All instructors are professional circus artists — many with training and performance experience — and they supervise every activity, from aerial silks and trapeze to tumbling and juggling. The facility includes safety equipment, rigging, and crash mats where needed.
Camp rules emphasize proper attire (no loose clothing, long hair tied back, no jewelry) to avoid accidents. Activities are scaled to age and ability: young campers are often introduced to basics like stretching, balance, and groundwork before advancing to more challenging aerial or partner acrobatics. The daily schedule includes breaks, hydration, and supervised transitions between activities. The result is a controlled, supportive environment where kids can safely explore circus skills.
Circus Center Summer Camps follow a rhythm that children come to love. Each week builds toward a small Friday performance showcase, where campers can demonstrate the skills they’ve learned — a fun, low-pressure way to end the camp and celebrate each child's growth.
Across the week, campers rotate through different circus disciplines, encouraging exploration, flexibility, and variety. The culture emphasizes positivity: instructors praise effort, encourage trying new things, and help kids support one another. Many families return year after year because of the friendly community feel, the sense of belonging, and the thrill of learning circus arts together.
Circus Center’s camp offers a vibrant mix of circus arts training designed to build physical strength, coordination, flexibility, and confidence — all while having fun. Each day begins with warm-ups and stretches, followed by rotations through disciplines such as aerial arts, tumbling, balancing, juggling, and creative games. Coaches provide instruction tailored to each camper’s age and skill level, ensuring that beginners feel supported and more experienced kids can challenge themselves. The program balances skill-building with play, creativity, and performance — giving children a unique way to grow physically, artistically, and socially.
