Surfing is the center of the day at Mission Beach, where campers ages 5–15 spend scheduled blocks learning on the water, getting ocean time, and joining beach games. The program is designed for children with or without prior surfing experience, and the camp supplies the core surf equipment so families do not need to provide a board or wetsuit. Campers use soft surfboards, wetsuits, and rashguards, with instructors setting up the gear on the beach each day.
Families can choose from 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day daytime options. Depending on the camp length, schedules include morning, afternoon, and all-day formats. Five-day camps run Monday through Friday, 3-day camps run Monday through Wednesday, and 2-day camps run Thursday and Friday. The Mission Beach setting is part of the learning environment: the camp describes a soft sandy bottom, mellow waves, and shallow water that supports beginner practice.
Instructors are CPR and First Aid certified, and the school also describes its instructors as trained in Ocean Rescue. Small children and weaker swimmers are kept in shallow water with instructors present. This camp is a practical fit for kids who want active beach time, a first introduction to surfing, or several consecutive days to practice in a structured daytime format.

The camp is organized around consecutive daytime surf sessions at Mission Beach. Five-day campers attend Monday through Friday, 3-day campers attend Monday through Wednesday, and 2-day campers attend Thursday and Friday. Morning sessions run from 9:00 AM to noon. All-day options run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, while afternoon sessions from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM are offered with the 3-day and 5-day formats. This structure lets families choose a shorter introduction or a longer week of repeated surf practice.
