Terra Spanish Immersion Camp is designed for children ages approximately 2–8 years and combines language learning, cultural exposure, and outdoor fun in a day-camp setting. The camp’s atmosphere is warm, engaging, and playful. Through games, songs, stories, arts, and crafts — all conducted in Spanish — children learn and practice the language in a natural, immersive way. Twice a week, campers explore nearby parks or green spaces, blending outdoor time with lessons in nature, social skills, art, and movement.
What makes this camp special is how it merges early language immersion with nature-based education and creative activities. Kids aren’t just learning vocabulary — they’re living in a mini-world where Spanish, play, friendship, and nature go hand in hand. For young learners (toddlers to early elementary age), this structure supports both language development and holistic development: social skills, motor coordination, curiosity, and emotional growth. Whether a child is new to Spanish or has some exposure, the camp’s inclusive, all-level approach ensures everyone feels welcome and engaged.

The camp does not provide lunch. Families are required to pack a lunch, snacks, and a refillable water bottle for each day. A lunch break is scheduled mid-day. For younger campers (ages 2–4), nap time follows lunch; older children move into afternoon activity sessions after lunch. Parents are also encouraged to send weather-appropriate clothes and extra layers, as some outdoor time is involved.
Terra runs all sessions with trained staff and maintains a structured daily routine to ensure children’s safety. On outdoor days (park or green-space visits), children walk in supervised groups — often using a rope system or partnering up, with a counselor at the front and back of the line. For younger children, this method helps maintain organization and safety along streets or in public spaces. Bathrooms, nap or rest periods, and appropriate transitions are planned to match children’s ages and needs.
The staff-to-child ratio and supervised routines during transition, play, meals, and rest sessions improve safety and support attentive care. There is a clear policy that all campers be potty-trained; children in diapers are not accepted. This helps maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, especially during outdoor adventures or during scheduled rest time.
Terra Spanish Immersion Camp builds community and routine through consistent daily rhythms: morning drop-off and “circle time,” language games, music, outdoor excursions twice a week, lunch, and rest or nap time for younger children, afternoon crafts or project work, and daily pickup — a predictable but lively tempo that kids get used to.
Outdoor nature excursions are a recurring tradition: walking to nearby parks or green spaces, exploring, playing, and reconnecting with nature while practicing Spanish. Younger campers often enjoy nap time after lunch, giving them a gentle balance between active learning and quiet rest. The blend of language, outdoor play, arts, and friendship creates a sense of belonging year after year for returning campers.
Terra Spanish Immersion Camp offers a balanced program mixing language learning, cultural exposure, creative play, and outdoor adventures. Each day begins with a morning circle — songs, stories, greetings — delivered in Spanish. Children then engage in interactive language games, arts and crafts, music, and cultural projects that introduce vocabulary, expressions, and basic Spanish conversation in fun, natural contexts.
Twice per week, the learning moves outdoors: campers walk (under close supervision) to nearby parks or green spaces for nature walks, playtime, movement games, and environmental or sensory-based activities. After lunch, younger campers rest or nap; older children continue with more crafts, storytime, or creative projects. The rhythm balances active learning, rest, and social interaction — ideal for young children’s development.
Families must provide a packed lunch, a snack, and a water bottle daily
Children must be fully potty-trained to attend (pull-ups only allowed during nap time)
Cancellation policy: full refund (minus processing fee) if cancelled at least two weeks before session start; after that, fees are non-refundable
