BMX Summer Camps

BMX Summer Camps

San Diego, CA, USA

Overview

Riding a BMX track puts the focus on speed, practice, and progress on a bike. BMX Summer Camps brings that experience to San Diego BMX, an outdoor track behind Kearny Mesa Recreation Park. The program centers on race track training and developing riding skills, with a focus on learning and improving rather than simply spending the day at the track.

Experienced BMX riders can work toward faster riding, while newcomers can try the sport through a dedicated camp experience. A separate expert-only option gives more advanced riders another way to take part. The day camp format lets participants spend the day riding and return home afterward.

The San Diego program runs for a full camp day, with time set aside for arrival and pickup. Riders bring their own bike, helmet, riding clothes, lunch, and water bottle. Hydration and an afternoon snack are provided at the track.
