World Voices San Diego Summer Camps offer a full Spanish-immersion experience built around art and creative exploration. Children ages 5–13 participate in the program regardless of their Spanish level, including complete beginners and advanced or heritage speakers. The camp is taught entirely in Spanish, allowing children to hear and use the language throughout the day while taking part in activities that give them plenty of reasons to communicate.
Each camp week focuses on a different famous artist and a central artistic theme. The program combines painting with theater, music, science, and outdoor play, so the day includes much more than language practice. Children explore an artist's ideas, experiment with different materials, and create their own work while naturally building Spanish vocabulary through conversation and activities.
The mixed-level format is particularly helpful for families with children at different stages of Spanish learning. Accommodation
World Voices San Diego Summer Camps are a day camp, not a residential program. Children attend daytime activities and return home at the end of the day.
The official website lists the regular camp schedule as Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 2:30 PM. The website does not describe overnight accommodation or dormitory stays for campers.
The program takes place in a school setting, with activities organized in small, mixed-level groups. Families visiting San Diego can also register for an individual camp week rather than making a longer-term commitment.
The camp uses small, mixed-level groups, allowing instructors to work closely with the children participating in each session. The World Voices team leads activities designed around the children in each group.
Before a child's first day, parents must complete and sign the required release form. The form is available online and does not need to be printed.
