Group challenges, night games, and time with their youth community bring students together at Grove Church Pine Valley Camp. Junior high and high school campers travel from San Diego to Pine Valley for an overnight program centered on shared activities and Christian faith. Team competitions let students join group games, while camp sessions and reflection shift the focus of their time away. Campers bring a Bible and notebook, reflecting the place of faith in the experience.
Daily camp life also includes shared meals, free time, and water-based activities. Rather than returning home after the day's program, students stay in cabins with other campers. Boys and girls have separate cabin areas and restrooms, and multiple adult leaders from Grove Church stay in each cabin. The leaders also supervise student groups during camp. These arrangements shape the overnight experience by combining organized activities with time spent alongside peers outside the usual church setting.
The camp may appeal to students who enjoy team activities, want to spend time with friends from their youth community, or are interested in a faith-centered overnight program. Along with games and group sessions, cabin living and shared meals make group life a regular part of camp. Grove Church provides bus or van transportation from San Diego, connecting the church community with the Pine Valley camp setting.
